Holiday Cards

I used to laugh at my mother, writing her Christmas Cards, each year sending to family members and friends. What’s the point right?

Well this year is the first time I truly feel home in my life. And I thought it was worth immortalizing this moment in time. Our dog is 11 already, and as much as hope she will still spend many years with us, it starts to feel ever more precious to have her around us. So as this year ends, I want to make something special.

Playing with AI

It’s the year 2024, going on 2025. And it seems like AI appeared one morning in our lives, and in just a few months, is now fully integrated to our way of life.

When you are a creative person, every new technology is a potential new tool for ideas, and making them real. AI makes no exception. Only this time it feels like a partnership rather than a simple tool.

I used a few of them but MidJourney is truly my favorite. It took a little while to train it to my taste and style, but it is now, the smoother image generating program I have used. It took a few trials, and I ended up refining the final design myself to my exact preference, but it was rather fun.

Printing with Moo

Finally, I was ready to print and send my cards towards different corners of the world. I decided to print with Moo. There are a lot of Printing options out there, but Moo is the most user friendly and it allows you to pick glossy or matte options for both sides, which is what I wanted.

Their whole branding is very nice too so it adds to the enjoyment of the experience.

Thank you
