I am not ready to talk about it yet, with anyone, and let alone the internet. But I have been dealing with a medical related issue for the past year. It’s been hard, for both my body and my mind.
The hardest part, has been that I had to give up some of the activities I love the most like Surfing, for months on. Then our car broke for 4 months 𤪠and in LA that’s pretty much a “prison” sentence lol
So going back in the water, with no cardio or endurance, most of my muscle mass gone (I couldn’t exercice neither), and not being able to maintain the memory of what surf’s movements are, just brings me back to square one.
It’s hard to accept.
Resilience is one thing. Acceptance is the hard one. To let go, and accept that you can’t control some part of reality and must make it work regardless. The story is not over, but this is the chapter called “hardship”.
Here are some silly little quotes that have been with me these past 8 months, that helped me go though, and could maybe help you if you are going through a rough patch at the moment.
